The Central Arizona College Casa Grande Center, located in Casa Grande, Arizona, is one of three educational centers of Central Arizona College. Situated in the middle of the downtown area, it focuses on Adult Basic Education – providing adults with the information and skills they need to pursue a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma. It also offers ESL classes for non-English speaking learners who want to gain a better grasp of the language for professional or personal development purposes.
CAC was established in 1969 to provide higher-education opportunities to the residents of Pinal County, Arizona. The college is made up of five campuses and three academic centers. It emphasizes its diverse population of local Hispanic and Native American students. Today, it enrolls about 6,000 students and counting each year across all of its locations. The school colors are green and gold, and its athletic nicknames are the vaqueros and the vaqueras.
