General Information

The Central Arizona College Maricopa Campus, located in Maricopa, Arizona, is one of five campuses of Central Arizona College (CAC). The Maricopa Campus was established in 2006 as a small education center but, as the suburb grew, so did the need for higher-education opportunities. The campus closed for about a year to undergo construction, and it re-opened in 2013 as a full-fledged campus. The campus lies on the southeastern edge of the Phoenix metropolitan area and serves three local communities. Campus services include a library, a student learning center, placement testing facilities, and academic testing facilities. Amenities include the Avanti Market and the Vaquero Lounge.

Academic Offerings

As a community college, CAC offers a wide variety of associate’s degrees and certificate programs. The Maricopa campus offers more than ten associate’s degrees that can be completed entirely on its campus, including accounting, business, computer programming, elementary education, and web development, among others. Available certificate and training programs include communication studies, nursing assistance, early childhood education, microcomputer business applications, and management, among others.
