Lincoln University International Student Insurance

Lincoln University, a private university located in Oakland, California, was established in 1919. It’s a nonprofit school geared toward adult education and international students. It was one of the first higher-education institutions in California to offer programs for working adults. It opened in San Francisco but moved across San Francisco Bay to Oakland in 1999. Today, Lincoln University enrolls about 650 students and counting each year.

Academic Offerings

Lincoln University offers five degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Imaging, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science in International Business, and a Master of Science in Finance Management. It also offers two minors for Bachelor of Arts students in Humanities and Information Technology.

In 1961, a second campus opened in San Jose, California. That campus became the location of the university’s law school program by the late 1980s, and in 1993, it separated from the main campus to become the independent Lincoln Law School of San Jose.
